Stop Smoking

Free 15-minute initial consultation.

Before we meet I I ask my clients to be prepared!

What do I mean by that; Any smoking areas inside the home, workplace car, truck CLEAN vacuum dust making sure, all the area’s smell fresh and all the ash trays have been empties or thrown out. (If you have a partner still smoking, ask them to be patient with you while you’re in transition, (from smoker to non-smoker) Please be considerate, or move, but communicate that you’re a NON smoker and you don’t want the harmful smoke around you at the moment. You can focus on your goal to be a non-smoker (don’t be rude / impolite in anyway, your partner/friend could be struggling as well).

I will ask you to clean vacuum and do the same to your outside hide-out, you might have a special place you’ve smoked, under the carport, or shed where you have that comfy couch, it may have the TV/game station and/or the bar is set up. Change these areas, make them ALL feel fresh, so you can breathe in the fresh air, put some candles round (safely), change the vibration of the area, make it feels relaxing.

Throw away your remaining smokes/lighters before you arrive at my office. You are ready!

These therapies have a good chance of successfully improving your goals to be a non-smoker when everyone’s cooperating. Don’t forget you’re the person wanting to stop smoking. This is your promise, your commitment to change and Never have a cigarette again. Can you afford to keep smoking?

When we meet for your psychotherapy and clinical hypnotherapy therapy, I ask various questions. We talk about your triggers, we ask if you really want to quit, we want to find out your beliefs on nicotine, do you think it’s an addiction?

Do you really want to break the habit?

You’ve probably tried to stop smoking before? What did you do when you tied previously? Did anything work for you?

I want to ask you, “what’s the real reason you’re here wanting hypnosis to stop you smoking”?

More than likely, nothing has worked and someone said they know someone who’s stopped smoking with hypnosis. You’re so desperate, you’re willing to try anything!

With psychotherapy and clinical hypnosis, I’m able to integrate your therapy, you’re experiences. Your mind is aware of the here and now, it’s also feels overloaded, has general clutter and filling it up with unhelpful suggestions, the other part of your mind stores everything else. The general cluttered mind chunks out what it needs. Today this cluttered mind doesn’t want you to smoke any more, it’s noticed that your body is battling feelings of fatigue, low energy, stress, anxiety, isolation, guilt, low self-esteem.  You feel that you’ve lost control of your thoughts, your feelings, your life.  The therapy places you into a relaxed state, where we talk to both parts of the mind, to integrate your decision to become the non-smoker. The person you really want to be.  This state of hypnosis is where you’re feeling a lovely state of relaxation, and we’re starting to release barriers and integrate the process for you to achieve your goal to be a non-smoker.
